Relaxing Alternatives Wellness Center: Ear Candling

Ear Candling: Ear candling is a simple process to help remove excess ear wax and should be a comfortable relaxing experience with no pain. Specially designed ear candles (about 11" cone shaped funnel) are used in the process. The narrow end of the candle is placed snuggly in the ear. You then light the other end of the candle. As it burns, excess wax is drawn up into the candle. Generally we use two candles on each ear. The process takes about 60 minutes to complete.
